Spanish Footed Highboy
Inspired by 18th Century originals this highboy boasts fine lines and proportions such as found in the Philadelphia School. The traditional two case construction, allows for ease of transportation, denoting it as a high boy. The primary wood on this piece is Curly Spanish Cedar, a rare wood I have not seen before or since, and all of which came from one tremendous board. Moreover, the name sake for this chest is attributed to the carved foot in a Spanish Style.
Features: Curly Spanish Cedar Case, hand carved Spanish feet, 12 hand dovetailed drawers (10 with working locks), and brass pulls.
Dimensions: 41 3/8" Wide (at the crown) x 75 1/2"High x 20 1/4" Deep
