Chippendale Linen Press
18th century linen presses were a combination between a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, but in today's information age this piece serves as a television cabinet. Ornamented with classical features such as ogee bracket feet, fluted corner columns, raised panels, tombstone arches, and a heavy crown this piece reflects the attention to detail common among most Philadelphian works from this era. Constructed of American Walnut the raised panel doors feature brilliant figured wood. The interior of the upper case contains two adjustable shelves, a coat rack could be added if desired.
Dimensions: 43 1/2" Wide x 21" Deep x 78" Tall
